I found the staff very friendly and helpful. They even assisted with parking my car. The bar area downstairs proved useful when I returned later that evening (it was quite cozy!). The bed provided great comfort, and the room offered a lovely garden view.
The hotel is listed as having a swimming pool but it definitely does not. The hotel has an agreement with a gym in the town centre which allows for a free swim, but the timings for its use are limited and heavily restricted.

The location is in a lovely residential square. It is situated just north of the town center and provides a nothing noisy. The shops, eateries and attractions are nearby and easily accessible.

The room features period details typical of period properties. Essential amenities include warm rooms with comfortable mattresses. The showers are hot and the room is well kept, I found the stay very good.

The breakfast offered a great cooked meal. Dinner was of a very high standard and very reasonably priced (the presentation was quite good!). I was really impressed by the quality of the food.

the location near the square was great! the staff at reception were friendly. breakfast offered a good selection of food items. we enjoyed access to the everlast gym, and we used the pool twice!

the hotel is across from a park, so the area is quiet! it is still only a short walk to the town center. tea and coffee making facilities were provided in my room.

check-in and check-out were handled very well by the staff. they were pleasant and smiling, a real credit to the place! the manager becky was attentive to all guests.

The room was very comfortable, big and clean. we loved the bear on our bed (its name was wellington). the bed was very comfy. there was a coffee machine in our room. I thought this was a plus. breakfast was lovely. I really enjoyed my stay.
The room was small, the shower was also small, as was the hand basin. the room was hot. Even with a fan it didn't help much. i couldn't leave the window open because it was a ground floor room.
